Pearl Modiadie
Pearl Modiadie also known as The Black Pearl to her fans is an exceptional young woman who’s been blessed with the gift to entertain.
She has since used this gift on television as a TV presenter, boasting viewers from all over Africa since 2006 when she decided to take a gap year after Matric to pursue her dream of being in front of the screens.
She is passionate about young women and provides them with a platform for female expression on the only show for girls - Sistahood. At 19, she was the youngest person ever to MC the Sunday Times Generation Next awards in 2006 and has since MC’d other corporate gigs and music/sports festivals.
Pearl has recently joined the Child Trace organisation team as an ambassador for the Child Identification Initiative.Child Trace is a non profit organisation that saw the need for the development of child identification and verification systems in South Africa to help combat the child trafficking pandemic in South Africa.
