Azile Maka
Azile Maka
Azile Maka is a proud product of a domestic worker, born and raised Kwanobuhle. He is a proactive Sexual and Gender Based Violence Activist, a Netball and Basketball player, he sometimes doubles as an artist. His love for Radio started during the times of Radio Xhosa, when he used to enter competitions as a young kid and once won a Bible and R50 cash prize. During those times, he used to say "xa ndimkhulu, ndizofundela ukuba nguMlungu" (When I grow up, I want to be a white person), that's a story for another day. In his 30 years of existence, he has spent most of his working life working in NGOs, trying to change people's lives through HIV prevention, GBV Prevention, Youth Leadership Development campaigns, and many others. His love for Sport On-Air as a Sport Presenter also translates in the field of play, when he's playing Netball (GD/GK) and BASKETBALL (G)
