THE FRESH START is the freshest start to the weekend, a cool and easy mix of memory makers and new music. We promote dialogue and engage our listeners with real and relevant topics. The aim is to educate our audience in a fun and informative way. Our aim and mission are to tackle dense topics in a simplest way possible so as to ensure that we are relatable our core audience which is a mix in-between urban and rural youth and those individuals that are young at heart.

150 minutes of radio with the following features #Hotbox a song battle between the presenters they each choose a song and the Listeners determine who is a winner on the day via WhatsApp Voice notes, Calls and Facebook comments on the station’s page. #OnTheSocials is a feature where the presenters relay two stories that were either trending or the one’s that deserved attention but drowned in the social media noise. These are current and interesting stories globally but at times we choose stories that would be relatable to the eastern cape even though they are international stories.

#TheBurningQuestion it is our Topic for the day. This also we engage the listener via Facebook, Calls and Voice Notes. Our 3^rd and Last Hour are dedicated to Teens with an SABC Education 30 minutes slot #StateYourMind we play a nalibali Radio drama story, have a teenage motivational speaker Singcwalise Dyantyi and close it with an interview of child psychologist exploring various Topics from preparing for exams to how to protect yourself against human trafficking. We close the Show with a #FreshMix we have 4 resident Djs that play deep house each having their standard Saturday.
