Meet Nompumelelo Skosana, popularly known as DJ Mpumi, an individual who is passionate about her work, ambitious, and introverted by nature.

Personal Background:

 DJ  Mpumi’s journey began in the rural area of Arnot station (Kwamaketani) in Middelburg, where she was born.

Educational Journey:

She started her schooling at Morelig Combined School in Wonderfotein in 2005 and continued until she obtained her matric in 2016.

Professional Journey:

In early 2017, she began her professional journey at Greater Middelburg FM, where she hosted '013 Connection' every Saturday.

Pursuit of Higher Education:

After June 2017, DJ Mpumi decided to further her education and enrolled at Richfield Graduate Institution of Technology in Middelburg.

Career Progression:

She embarked on J new chapter in her career in 2020 when she secured a job at Flare FM. DJ Mpumi had the privilege of hosting the breakfast show until April 2021.

Aspirations:

One of DJ Mpumi’s dreams is to see herself hosting Ikwekwezi FM’s afternoon drive show and DJing, much like the esteemed DJ Zinhle, whose career she admires.
