  • What do you love most about radio?

The ability to connect with such a wide audience on a personal level, crossing the barriers of age, race and culture.

  • How long have you been on radio?

7 years

  • What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Up until recently spare time was a dream as I was completed my studies, which took up most of my time. I’m now learning how to navigate the blessing of free time which I’ve tried spending relearning who I am outside of my studies. What do I like to watch on tv? What do I like to read? what restaurants I like? Well we’re about to find out

  • What knowledge do you love imparting onto your listeners?

Radio has always been about Educating, informing and entertaining.

I’ve found over the years that my favourite knowledge the share is not that of my own but rather the knowledge from one listener to another, being a space for listeners to share and exchange their own stories.

  • What daily motivation do you believe contributes to your success over the airwaves daily?

I wake up every morning with immense gratitude that I get to have my dream job, that in itself is motivation enough to get up and to give it my all every single day.

  • What has been your favourite moment on Radio?

There have been so many fantastic moments I have shared with listeners over the years, however one that certainly stands out was being on while the final game of the rugby world cup in Japan was being played, I was honour to announce south Africa as the winner as the final whistle blew. Teary eyed and with a studio full of SABC security we celebrated.
