Eastern Cape born and Cape Town schooled Kyeezi has always had a passion for basketball, and with his height of almost 2 meters tall, it’s easy to understand why he spent some time in his past on the basketball courts.

Kyeezi is a ball of energy, a Cape Town is his playground. From starting at UCT Radio, to making it on Good Hope FM, Kyeezi is young, full of energy and lives by his quote “ Greatness is something your practice everyday, so go out there and Be Great”. Kyeezi is on a mission to embody and spread the message that anyone and everyone has the right to be great in their own light.

What do you love most about radio?

Radio gave me life. A space to share my imperfections, my misunderstanding as well as a space to grow in my community.

What knowledge do you love imparting onto your listeners?

No matter where you are from and what ever it is you do, we are all similar. We want the best lives and we are all capable of achieving the lives we dream of.

What daily motivation do you believe contributes to your success over the airwaves daily?

Knowing that getting too comfortable is the highway to your coffin. If we are still busy living, we should be break barriers and taking risks in order to grow as individuals

What has been your favourite moment on Radio?

Our show once decide to go crazy on air and raise as much money as possible in 3 hours from our Keep Cape Town Warm Campaign with Capfin. We ended up raising R70 000 which Capfin then matched, which meant we raised R140 000 in 3 hours on air
