Chad Saaiman

Accomplished singer, songwriter and entertainment personality, Chad Saaiman, has been performing professionally for over a decade and his talents have exposed him to gracing stages and drawing crowds in several cities and countries worldwide.
The SAMA and Metro FM Nominated artist has release 3 albums, 1 EP and a few chart-topping singles that continue to garner airplay nationally.
A University of the Western Cape Alumnus - majoring in English Literature and Communications, and more recently obtaining a Brand Management Qualification with Get Smarter and UCT, Chad believes that growth and constant improvement is pivotal to achieving his goal of longevity in the entertainment industry. The proof is in the pudding as he also is the Managing Director of successful artist management and booking agency Stereotype Talent Management and is directly involved in the strategy, logistics and execution of The Black Ties, entertainment and sound hire solutions in Cape Town.
Named one of GQ’s Best Dressed Men in the country, One of Cosmopolitan’s Sexiest Men, Destiny Man’s Most Remarkable Men under 40 and respected as a brand in the industry, Chad Saaiman has worked with brands such as Adidas, Nespresso, Cape Town City FC, Laurus, Woolworths, AEG, Starbucks, Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, Falke, Vivo Mobile, WWF, Canal Walk and many more.
2022 has also led Chad to the third season of his own radio show on Good Hope FM, aptly named Saaiman Says, a music-driven show that takes place Monday to Thursday 6-9pm, and Sunday 3-6pm. The show has broken many local releases as well as interviewed global stars such as Craig David, Adekunle Gold and Jonathan Butler.
- What do you love most about radio?
The same thing I love about performing, the ability to make a positive change in someone’s day with music. The ability to create moments. The opportunity to create even more opportunities for other artists.
- How long have you been on radio?
2 years.
- What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Reading, listening to podcasts, running, training, resting, cooking and figuring out how to have more spare time.
- What knowledge do you love imparting onto your listeners?
I love making connections for our listeners, and getting them to share memories and things that make our listeners unique. I love sharing new music. Stretching the musical ear.
- What daily motivation do you believe contributes to your success over the airwaves daily?
I want to be on air, I want to make a difference on and in radio, I strive for excellence with each and every part of my career.
- What has been your favourite moment on Radio?
My Favourite moment was interviewing Craig David as well as hosting and co-producing Saaiman Says Live Sessions.
