Family History 

Fifth in a family of eight.

Educational history 

Attended Luhebu North school until 1983 when I was Gr. 5 in previous year it was Std. 3 and we were moved to a small place called Makata for a new school until 1987.In 1988 when I was Gr.7 (Std 5)  I was sent to Tsumkwe High School until 1990 in Namibia before Namibia became independent. In 1990 I completed my Gr.12 at Schmidtsdrift combined school in South Africa.

During my school career I, Radio presenter Joe Papa has served as a school Prefect and school Choir member. after school I was also appointed as a Community Youth Leader in Schmidtsdrift.

Previous Working Environment

Security guards at the farm and later worked at a mining company as a diamond guard for  (1998-1999)      

Currently

I work for the SABC Community Radio station (X-Kfm Radio) as Breakfast show presenter for 18 years, since 2000. My show deals with Traffics, weather updates, Sports updates as well as Cultural life style as it was In the past.

My popular show called “Ons wil beter leef” is the most fabulous theme I ever share with the holistic listeners of South Africa.

Here Papa Joe was interviewing the !Xun and Khwe Chiefs. Chief Likua Kambembe and Chief Kamama Mukua  at annual  Kalahari San Desert Festival Outside Broadcast at Kalahari.

Languages on Air

 He speaks fluent !xu tali which is his home language followed by Khwedam which his neighbour 

 Language that is his wife’s mother tongue and not forgetting the two Official languages Afrikaans    

 And English respectively.
