Define Noloyiso Bonga to us
Noloyiso is an energetic lady, an athlete, boyish kind of style. She loves to joke, loves Sports. She is shy to people she is not familiar with. She grew up in a Township Kwa Zakhele in Port Elizabeth.
Who inspired you to love radio and why?
The late Mr Velelo Nomsobo, Mr Saba Mbixane and Mr Ntsikelelo Maposa and the adverts, I used to imitate Disprin, Bullbrand and Sedgwicks Old Brown
What does radio mean to you and what drives you to do what you do?
Radio is a healer, quickest form of communication to a large number of people, educating and informative. Sports is something I’m passionate about and I’m learning new things every day. I’m eager to learn and and develop myself in the industry.
If you were not on radio, what would you be doing?
I would be a professional athlete and later join the Sports Administration when I retire.
What would you like people to remember about you?
For caring about other people, helping out where I can and being a hard worker. Each and everything that I have achieved I have worked hard for it.
State 5 facts that we don’t know about you
I don’t drink tea and coffee, alcohol, smoke, I don’t eat hot spicy food, I believe in God but (ndiyayonqena icawa).
What’s your favorite ’90s song that you still listen to?
TKZee and Bennie Shibobo
What is the best gift you've ever received?
21st birthday day party it was my first ever party I never had a party before my parents would only buy cake for my birthdays that’s what they could afford.

What role has Umhlobo Wenene FM played in your life?
It gave me an opportunity of a lifetime, it has always been my dream to work for a national broadcaster but I never thought I would work for Sports, for me sports is my lifestyle and never knew I could make a career of it off the field.
Umhlobo Wenene FM turns 60 years this year: what does being part of this massive and successful brand mean to you?
I’m grateful that I have contributed in the success of the station, I am happy to be a colleague of legendary radio personalities I am gaining experience while they are still around, this means the future of radio will not go in vain.
