As we are celebrating 60 years of Umhlobo Wenene FM get to know me SNomonde Vakalisa better

1. My name is Nomonde Vakalisa, I'm a very patient person you can say that I took after my name.

2. I was inspired by a lot of people, just to name the few Zola Also,Saba Mbixane,Khanyi Magubane,Thami Ngubeni and DJ Sbu. I loved how the related to their listeners,the relationship and how they engaged with them. These people were naturals. Their presenting style was always on point.

3. Im a fun person I love entertainment and it is part of every social group. Radio plays a key role in socializing and helps people find happiness and motivation in difficult times,by playing music,educating, informing and talking about interesting topics. Passion is what drives me, seeing people happy and making a difference in the listener's life.

4. If I wasn't on Radio I would be touring the world or running my own business.

5. I would like people to remember that,there's nothing special about me,they can achieve anything in life if they focus and understand that failure is the stepping stone to succes.

6. I'm very sensitive, I'm an introvet, cry a lot, my dad is Zulu and I love dogs.

10. Mhlobo Wenene FM has played a huge role in my life and family. I've been to places I never thought of,stood and shared platforms with great people. Mhlobo Wenene opened so many doors for me.

11. It means so much to me. I might not have been part of the station during its inception but being part of the 60th Annivesary is so humbling. It will be in records in generations to come that I WAS HERE.
