1.       Define Onke Cetywayo to us

I was born in a small town called Tsolo, ezilalini e Faraday ku Jence. I am the second born of the five children but the first male child ndiyi Ndlalifa yelakhaya. Studied my Junior Secondary at Tsolo Residency J.S.S., went to Ikwezi Technical Skill Centre where I matriculated. Fathered my Studies at CPUT doing Cost and Management Accounting.

2.       What role has Umhlobo Wenene FM played in your life?

Where do I start, the station played an important role in my life though it’s a short time, but the station exposed me to whole lot of listeners out there whom I need to listen and respect them all the time while listening to them you also get a chance to learn as well.

3.       Who inspires you and why?

Life in general my father Zwelibanzi is always my inspiration. He is a success driven person uyayithanda nje into entle, a very hard-working person.

4.       What does radio mean to you?

Radio means everything to me. It’s a simplest form of communication where you get to know every listeners across the board.

5.       If you were not on radio, what would you be doing?

Surely doing something else as I am an Accountant by profession but of cause whatever I would be doing I would be doing it with a radio next to me  

6.       What would you like people to remember about you?

Fun and down to earth individual who is very rooted to his culture and indigenous spirituality.

Ooh Sis Brenda Fassie “Black president” and of cause “Burn Out” by Bra Sipho Hot Stix Mabuse though I think its 80’s song

·       Hahahaha I cannot sing ndiliyilo

·       I am not a good dancer either

·       Old stories from grandfathers and grandmothers interests me a lot

·       Stubborn at times but I do not have ego
