SAfm Festive Cume Competition

SAfm will be giving away R50 000 in cash (R5000 to 10 lucky listeners) in the SAfm Festive Cume Competition. 

To stand a chance of winning your share of R5000 in cash, simply follow the steps below:

Step 1: Stay locked onto SAfm

Step 2: SMS “SAfmFestive” followed by your name to 41391.  SMSes are charged at a premium rate of R1.50 per sms. Free minutes and sms bundles do not apply.

Step 3: Random numbers will be drawn on various shows anytime from the 11/12/2023 until the 30/12/2023.  These numbers will be called by a presenter, the listener must answer with “SAfmFestive” in order to win R5000.  In the event that the owner of the number cannot be contacted, then he or she is disqualified from winning the prize and another winner will be drawn.

Entries open: 11/12/2023 and close on the 30/12/2023

Competition Terms and Conditions:

2. This competition is open to everyone except directors, members, partners, employees, agents, and consultants of the SABC and/ or the competition promoters, and/ or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates.
3. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by SAfm within 90 days of winning a competition hosted or in whole by SAfm.
4. The competition will start on the 11/12/2023 and end on the 30/12/2023. Entries received after this date/time will not be considered.
5. Any person who wishes to enter the competition may submit as many entries as possible. An entrant can only win once in the competition and will be disqualified for winning a second prize if selected again.
6. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain permission from parents or guardians before entering
7. Winners will only be contacted by SAfm/SABC.
8. The SABC/ SAfm accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible or corrupt entries. The SABC will not be liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
9. Winners’ names will be announced anytime from the 11/12/2023 until the 30/12/2023.

10. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The SABC will not be held responsible for any disputes arising from the competition or prize awards.

11. In order to claim this prize the winner must adhere to the rules of a specific campaign.
12. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
13. Winners’ names will be announced on the date and on the medium as will be determined by the specific campaign.
14. Prizes are not transferable.
15. The SABC reserves the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

17. In order to claim the prize, the winner must provide and complete all the relevant documentation. 
18. Winners use prizes at own risk. The SABC shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize/s.
19. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
