SABC 3 is launching a brand new campaign called “Escape The Norm”. The campaign is based on the insight that this festive period is like none other. With an incredibly difficult year to date, and an uncertain future, South Africans need escapism more than ever before and SABC 3 has world-class, quality entertainment, to assist our viewers in taking a much needed break from the reality of our world.
The campaign objective is to give our audience mini-breaks away from their reality – with the end goal of enjoying longer breaks in front of their TV screens with quality SABC 3 content. The focal point of our escapism is of course great shows such as Trending SA, Expresso, Afternoon Express, The Insider, The Good Doctor, The Oath, to name but just a few.
The campaign will integrate channel’s own talent including Mablerh, Refilwe, Elma (Trending SA), Graeme (Expresso) and Palesa (Afternoon Express). These influencers will drive the hype during the launch by featuring SABC 3’s campaign message “Escape the norm with SABC 3. #EscapeWithS3”.
“Being empathetic towards our viewers was at the center in the creation of this campaign. Whilst we as a society have accepted our new post Covid reality norms; the SABC 3 brand identified the need to escape it all and to find comfort in escapism through our content. The SABC 3 team has worked hard to ensure that the content offered lives up to the proposition of escaping the norm and we are excited to give our viewers the escapism that our viewers have been yearning for,” commented Dichaba Phalatse, SABC TV Network Marketing Manager.
