Fundis season two is presented in Afrikaans by Schalk Bezuidenhout and Sorina in a fun, energetic and humorous manner which sets it apart from the regular quiz show format.

THE FORMAT

Fundis consists of three sections:-

A. General Knowledge Round (Kitskontant) - This is the money builder section where contestants answer general knowledge questions on any topic in order to accumulate as much money as possible.

B Specialist (Fundis) Round - Each contestant answers questions from specialized sections and tries to lose as little of their money which was accumulated in the previous section.

C. The Jackpot Round - The winner of the evening can select a specialized section and answer 5 questions on this topic within 30 seconds to walk away with the jackpot which is made up of all monies forfeited by both contestants during the program in the above “Fundis” round.

D. The Contestants – The contestants were selected after auditioning through zoom and WhatsApp video calls. Each week we meet 2 new contestants up until week 6.After the 6th show, the quarter finals begin. The quarter finalists are made up of the 8 highest scoring contestants. The quarter finals work as knock out rounds and those who win go through to the semi-finals and then the final round. The contestant who wins episode 13 is crowned the fundi of the series.
