The purpose of this competition is to offer loyal Afro Café fans a unique experience, either via “The Fan” or “The Loyalty Reward” feature.

The FAN

The FAN Videos will be selected based on:

1. The broadcast possibility of the visual and audio quality.
2. Song selection compared to existing already recorded and selected submission.
3. Shoot availability of selected celebrated artist.
4. Producers selection based on content variation is final.
5. Participants must be willing to sign release forms for broadcast.
6. Entries will be accepted from 3 June 2020 to 30 July 2020.
7. The competition is open to South African citizens nationwide.
8. The SABC and its agents accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or any late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or corrupted entries. The SABC and its agents are not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
9. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them when entering.
10. The prize is not transferable, and cannot be deferred or exhanged.
11. The SABC and its agents reserve the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
12. Entrants that enter need to be within the ages of 18 and older. If younger than 18, a guardian will need to approve of their entry in writing and sign the release form for broadcast.

The LOYALTY REWARD

Nominations via a video will be accepted via the Afro Café email address and Watsapp line. Send us details of the person you’d like to nominate, their physical address, the artist you’d like to suprise them and the occasion/reason for nominating them.

The LOYALTY REWARD: Subjects to feature on the Loyalty Reward will be selected based on the following:
1. Song selection compared to previously selected requests.
2. Shoot availability of selected celebrated artist and nominated viewer.
3. Technical connective possibility of the nominated viewer.
4. Producers selection based on content variation is final.
5. Participants must be willing to sign release forms for broadcast and must consent to featuring in footage that will be flighted on SABC in perpetuity.
6. Entries will be accepted from 3 June 2020 to 30 July 2020.
7. The competition is open to South African citizens nationwide, band/artist choice must be based in Gauteng.
8. The prize constitutes a one-on-one performance for your nominated guest by the selected artist in an environment set up and controlled by Afro Café’s production house, Bonngoe Productions. If the chosen subject can not avail themselves to Bonngoe Productions schedule, a new subject will be chosen who can attend on the date and location mentioned.
