Show Details

Each week Making Moves profiles a budding entrepreneur who runs a company that has been in existence for over a year, is between the ages of 18 to 35, can proof cash flow into the business, but has some teething problems. Mongezi Makhalima, Tumi Frazier, Dr Jack Lewdwaba and Phuthanang Segoati are mentors on the show. The role of the mentor is to provide advice to the entrepreneurs in order to help them take their business to the next level. This is done through interaction between the mentor and the entrepreneur for half a day. Our presenter introduces the mentor to the business owner, and then they go through the business for an evaluation process.

The mentor gives their thoughts of the business and what they consider to be the problems with regard to the business. At the end of the evaluation, the mentor issues three mini tasks to the business owner, which they need to complete within a day. The task should be physical and action driven and should be achievable within a day. The mentor will also be part of the judging panel, which happens on a different day in a boardroom.

The show airs on SABC1, Mondays at 13h30
