For South Africa to reach its developmental goals, and address its many social issues, it will need strong leadership: not only now, but well into the future. The show aims to encourage young and bright minds to come up with innovative ways of addressing issues, while exposing them to the kinds of challenges and difficulties leaders are faced with.
One Day Leader is a reality television series that tackles the issue of leadership amongst the youth now in its 6th season. It follows six young people who showcase their leadership skills by tackling modern day social, economic and political issues, to compete for the coveted title of South Africa’s One Day Leader. The show is presented by Pearl Shongwe.
