The ARISE Concert is a collective effort through organised institutions and the creative fraternity to standup and support the much-needed action required to rebuild the homes of those affected by the floods.

The concert will showcase the best of the best in the arts and music industries. Who have pledged support from around the country to show their commitment to the cause, not only their time but they most valued asset, music! These performances will be the catalyst to inspire a nation to act, to raise your hand in solidarity to one cause.

The ARISE Concert project is an initiative between the NAC, in partnership with the SAMRO, SAMPRA, CAPASSO, RISA, Gearhouse, Mushroom Productions and Doo More Foundation, bring you the Arise Benefit Concert at the Moses Mabhida Stadium and People’s Park on 18 June 2022.


Tickets will be available at Ticket Pro for R100 (Stands), R150 (Stadium Pitch) and R200 for the Golden Circle. Ticket holders will be able to move between two stages, at the Moses Mabhida Stadium and People’s Park.

 

Over 40 artists have pledged their performance on the night as their donation to the cause. The concert will run till midnight. The public will buy one ticket and be entertained on two stages. The campaign slogan - Raise Your Hand for KZN & Eastern Cape.

The broadcast of the concert on SABC1 platform, Metro FM, Radio 2000, Ukhozi FM, Umhobo Wenene FM, Lesedi FM and its related on-air marketing, digital platforms and branding will provide the necessary promotion to raise awareness for this campaign. This critical information about the purpose of the concert to the South African viewer will allow for the required action to be taken to ensure maximum success of the campaign. While critical information will be shared to the public about the impact of the devastation created by the recent floods in KZN & EC. The concert and music performances will provide much needed relief and showcase the support to the humanitarian efforts made by a worthy cause to assist those affected by the floods.
