“I started playing football at the age of six”’ says Ntiwane.

He’s football career was driven when he joined the Barberton All Blacks in 1988, as an under-12 football player,in the under-12 Chappies Little League.  He was one off the best football players throughout his schooling career. Ntiwane says when he would represent the province on a national level, he would strive to win. “Winning games was sweet, but whenever we lost I would burst out crying after the loss”, he states.

Unlike most football players, Ntiwane was lucky to play for his father’s football team called Two for Joy. Where he would play against well-known teams, and it brought joy to him when Two for Joy would win against such big names.

When he was playing for the provincial under-20 squad he was sponsored by United bank. Doors opened for him to join the nation under -23 squad a year later were he was coached under the hands of Mich D’ Avery/ Khabo Zondo and the late Patric Ace, when he joined the national under-23 squad for Vision 2000 (Ama Glug-glug).

At the height of his career he was in the PSL team The Real Rovers. The team later got relegated. That never put a stop to his footballing career because he didn’t go unseen, Kaizer Chiefs recognised his talent .to his dismay his deal to be signed over to the team never got finalised. He then later left the Real Rovers.

Ntiwane suffered an injury that brought his footballing career to an end while he was playing for PJ Starts in 2006/2007.

In 2008 Ntiwane would get invites to co-host ema-Sunday Koos with a radio DJ called Mandla where he would do sport bulletins on BCR FM a local radio station in his home town of Barberton. This gave him an opportunity to have his own sport show, called Sport Zone. 

His perseverance landed him on the Ligwalagwala FM sport team in 2012 till to date. His life sure shows that “Nothing comes easy in life and it’s a marathon, Impossible is nothing,”
