Good Hope FM is Cape Town’s original radio station and has been an integral part of the communities’ pop culture for over five decades.  As of 1 April 2018, Good Hope FM will hit the reboot button to reveal the biggest re-mix ever made to the stations’ weekday line-up.

Good Hope FM is synonymous with new music, new local artists and finding new on-air talent.  In keeping with this mindset, the station has confirmed the appointment of Dan Corder (24) as their new breakfast show host, making him the youngest presenter to nab this major time slot since fellow radio trailblazer, Mark Gillman in 1995. He will also be the youngest breakfast show host currently on commercial radio in the country.

Corder began his radio career on UCT Radio and has been on-air at Good Hope FM since 2015, “We know Dan is a great fit for our listeners, his content is fresh, he is consistently ahead of the trend and younger generation Capetonians can easily relate to him – he speaks their language”, says Brendan Ficks, Good Hope FM Station Manager.

Another exciting change on the remixed line-up is Good Hope FM stalwart, Nigel Pierce, who is shifting gears from breakfast to hosting the coveted afternoon drive slot (03:00PM – 06:00PM). Pierce will be followed by Khanya ‘Kyeezi’ Siyengo (06:00PM -09:00PM) and radio legend, Grandmaster Ready D in his regular slot (09:00PM – 11:00PM). During the day listeners can tune in to Stan Mars (09:00AM – 12:00PM) followed by an all new weekday show hosted by Good Hope FM on-air personality, actress and model, Leigh-Anne Williams. The popular presenter for SABC TV’s ‘Expresso Morning Show’ has been part of the Good Hope FM family for many years; now fans can tune in Monday through to Friday (12:00PM – 03:00PM) to catch her show.
