Banyana are the reigning African Champions.
The African Champions will feature in two friendly matches against neighbours Botswana and Zambia in the next few weeks. Coach Desiree Ellis says they are looking at the two matches and beyond, to prepare vigorously for the Confederation of African Football Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament.
“We know how many days are left before WAFCON starts we know this is the last window before WAFCON starts, we are working behind the scenes, making sure that we get everything right, this is not about just these friendly matches, and also about what happens after that as well, so we have one eye on this window we also have another eye on what we need to do after, because that's going to be key as well, we know it was very key in the last WAFCON," Ellis said.
