Meanwhile, the second-leg encounter is scheduled to take place at Loftus Stadium, Pretoria on May 11.
Bafana squad assembled for camp in Johannesburg on Monday and are expected to travel to Malawi on May 1.
The Ntseki-coached side progressed to the final round of the CHAN qualifiers after defeating Egypt 4-2 on aggregate. The two-legged clashes were played in March this year.
