SA Weather Service issues warning for disruptive rainfall along coastal province

Date: Jul 21, 2025

The South African (SA) Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a weather warning for possible disruptive rains accompanied by strong winds along the coast of the KwaZulu-Natal province

These weather patterns are expected to persist through this week.  Forecaster, Sihle Dlamini says a kick start expected by tomorrow with the possibility mainly just along the coastal areas.

“Just looking at the areas that might be affected maybe we are looking at the city of Durban, KwaDukuza and possibly, Richards Bay. I’m not looking forward to the southern parts or to the south coast of KZN. So, it is manly Durban and Richards Bay where I’m expecting this to affect,” Dlamini said.
