The SA Presidency says the Austrian leader's visit presents an opportunity to consolidate the relationship between SA and Austria, a key member of the European Union.

Presidential Spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya says Pretoria and Vienna collaborate in areas including arts and culture, higher education and renewable energy.

“SA and Austria maintain cordial and cooperative bilateral relations that are rooted in mutual respect shared values and multilateralism and growing economic and cultural exchanges,” Magwenya said.
