SA authorities urge motorists to be cautious following deadly crash

The Department of Transport in the South Africa’s (SA) has urged motorists to be vigilant when driving on the road following a fatal crash which claimed five lives

In the crash which happened on the R66 in the town of Dokodweni, amongst the deceased include three adults and two children. Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle lost control and collided head-on with a sedan which was transporting eight passengers from the town of Nongoma to the city of Durban. Provincial Transport Executive, Siboniso Duma has sent condolences to the affected families.

"Let us pass the condolences to those who perished in a gruesome accident that took place at Dokodweni last night.We do want to wish and alert them to restrain the pedestrians that as they utilise the road they must be always be aware, they must not be wild and drive. We must make sure that our roads are designed and constructed for our people," Duma said.
